Create with color values
Enter color values as the starting point for palettes. The app works with the values you provide rather than asking you to establish an online profile.
01 / A PERSONAL COLOR WORKSPACE
ColorNest helps you create and organize color palettes without depending on a remote workspace. You can enter values, generate combinations, give palettes names, and return to the ones you favor. This is a general-purpose creative tool for anyone who wants to keep color decisions organized. Its current version is designed for offline use.
Enter color values as the starting point for palettes. The app works with the values you provide rather than asking you to establish an online profile.
Give a palette a name that makes sense to you. That name stays with the locally saved record so you can identify your palette later.
Mark palettes as favorites when you want to distinguish them from the rest. Favorite selections are part of the app’s locally maintained information.
App preferences are saved alongside other local information. They support your use of the app without a required sign-in.
The current version is built to operate without an internet connection. Its core creative purpose is palette making and organization, not an online feed or hosted account.
02 / TOOLS YOU INITIATE
There are several ways to work with color in ColorNest. Some start with values you type; others start with an image you deliberately select. Every option described here belongs to the app’s local creative workflow. Optional actions remain your choice.
Enter values yourself and use them while generating palettes. The values you save are kept within the app’s local storage.
Create palette combinations and keep the ones you want to use again. Generated values can be saved with the rest of your palette records.
Choose an image through Android’s selection interface and extract HEX values locally. The feature does not need the image to be uploaded to a server.
When available, export a palette as a PNG file to a destination you choose. The exported copy can remain outside the app even if the original app record is removed.
Copy a HEX code as a separate action when you need a color value elsewhere. The act of using a value in another app is under your control.
03 / A CLEAR DATA PATH
The privacy policy distinguishes ordinary app records from files you choose to move outside the app. ColorNest maintains palettes, favorites, values, and preferences locally. Choosing an image does not require sending it to a developer-operated server. Exports and backups follow the destination you select.
You type color values or create palette records in the app. These are the pieces of information that support your color organization.
If you select a picture, the app uses it locally to extract colors and produce HEX values. You decide whether to use this optional workflow.
Saved palettes, favorites, generated values, and settings are held in local app storage. Android’s app isolation provides a layer of protection for that information.
You may export a PNG or save a JSON backup and select where it goes. A destination outside the app is not automatically deleted with the app’s internal records.
Delete saved palettes using app controls, clear app data, or uninstall. Any separately exported or backed-up copies need their own deletion action.
04 / WHAT IS — AND IS NOT — INVOLVED
The current offline version is not designed to send your palette information or selected images to the developer’s servers. It does not integrate in-app advertising or analytics tracking services. Android may display a system picker when you select images or handle files. Third-party storage or sharing providers have their own rules when you choose to use them.
Palette records, saved values, favorites, settings, and optional local image processing.
Required accounts, in-app advertising, analytics tracking, or automatic uploads to developer servers.
Palette names, color values, favorites, and relevant preferences live on your device. They are not records in a required online ColorNest account.
You do not need to create a username and password to use ColorNest. The policy describes no account registration for the current version.
This offline version does not integrate in-app advertising services. It also does not include analytics tracking services.
Image selection is tied to the item you choose. Core palette functions do not require continuous access to photos, camera, contacts, or location.
If you share files or use an external storage provider, that provider may process the files you give it. Its own policies then become relevant.
05 / DECISIONS THAT STAY WITH YOU
Your decisions guide the use of the optional features described in the policy. You choose whether to select an image, where an export or backup is saved, and when to delete palettes. The operating system also provides ways to clear app storage or uninstall the app. The policy reminds you to handle copies stored elsewhere separately.
Image color extraction starts only when you select a picture. You can continue using other palette features without this optional step.
For exports and JSON backups, you control the storage location. Consider that copies outside the app can remain after you delete local app data.
Remove palette records within the app or use its data-clearing options. For broader removal, Android settings can clear app storage.
Uninstalling ColorNest removes the app and its ordinary local app records, subject to the policy’s note about exported files and system-managed backups.

06 / CLARITY BUILDS TRUST
A color palette can feel small, but the values, images, and notes you use still deserve clear handling. ColorNest describes its offline storage and optional exports so you can make informed choices. Android’s app storage isolation and device controls are part of the protection described. The policy also recognizes that no storage method eliminates all risk.
Local records benefit from Android’s app storage isolation and device security controls. Keeping your operating system updated supports those protections.
An exported PNG or JSON backup becomes a separate file. Protect those copies according to where you save or share them.
The policy says standard Android application backup is disabled for the app. Other system-managed or external storage behaviors may follow their own rules.
ColorNest is described as a general-purpose creative tool. Parents or guardians are encouraged to supervise file sharing and device use where appropriate.
The policy may be revised when features or data handling change. Its effective date is intended to change when an updated policy is published.
